Kamila Król is a prolific comic artist, and Liam Barrett is an illustration professor at the University of South Wales. Together, they bring us exciting insights into the Welsh comic scene – right from Stuttgart’s partner city Cardiff.

Besides lecturing, Liam Barrett works in the field of editorial and social commentary illustration.

Kamila Król has published short comics, zines and books. Her work has appeared in anthologies in Britain and Poland. Her graphic novel “Rusalka: Whispers of the Forest” has won nominations and awards in both countries. Kamila writes from a queer perspective, often against the backdrop of Slavic folklore or mythology.
